Because I focus on way more than just your website when I’m retained to design you a website and am actually doing keyword research, competitor analysis, elements of front end Search Engine Optimization and much more the entire process start to fully finished usually takes anywhere from 14 days to a month depending upon how many pages you will need designed. Straight up design time usually takes 3-5 days start to finish starting with design for web, then moving into mobile optimization and from there the rest is pretty much just technical aspects, and copy writing. Before the design process starts though there is usually at least 3-5 days of straight research, competitor research, keyword research and strategy building time. This is what’s unique about me - I don’t just build websites and never will - I build you a brand and business that’s in alignment with your target audience and your goals in business. The website itself is a product of that process so if a week has gone by and you want to have a fit that the design process hasn’t started yet, or that it’s not done - please just pass on by and understand there’s a very large difference between putting up a website and creating a brand that people will align with as well as trust and come to because trust has been built in alignment because of a strategy that was created ahead of any designs being published instead of a thrown up website that has no plan or real purpose in content or intent.

If you like your existing design that much please just go back to your original designer and either pay them what you owe them (yes, unfortunately this is a thing and needs to be said) or pay for a migration and possibly an additional redesign fee to keep your website as is under new hosting if hosting charges are flying through the roof and you want to switch to a more cost effective solution that you’ve seen advertising for but in no circumstance will I take someone else’s design and duplicate it to a T, and anyone that is willing to do this isn’t even someone you should be dealing with because they’ve failed to understand ethics in business. Creative commons laws exist, and rule number 1 of creatives is you dont touch or recreate someone else’s work without their okay.

I dive in deep to what it is you are doing and offering to create all the elements of your full brand in a big picture kind of way. That’s worth way more than $200 of my time given the amount of hours I put into strategy alone for my clients, and given the revenue you should be making if you are booking appointments, and focusing in on building a growing business over time.

In RARE cases - I can work on very quick projects that can be developed out more over time just to get you up and going in the event of an emergency situation (It happens)... Please note I NEVER work on Sundays, and I DO NOT under any circumstance work Thanksgiving weekend, or December 21st - 26th. Dec 31st (I’m definitely not working after 6pm if I do at all) and January 1st is a maybe if it’s an ongoing project. Please don’t come in Dec 22nd and expect a website done by the 1st or 2nd - it’s NOT going to happen and if it does, it’ll be on my terms. Paying your invoice in full books you out on the next available spot on my calendar. This is very rarely in the next day or even a week and you’ll be notified via both your scope ahead of payment as well as email what this date is once you’ve paid your invoice in full as it’s often days later when many pay their invoices and I work on a first to sign and pay, first to serve basis booked out exclusively for that time. Please remember - when it comes to “your dedicated design time” I also take typically about 3-5 days to create a full strategy, download any graphics I may need to upload into your site, and or collect or design any additional material plus perform initial keyword research and competitor analysis. If this is something you have a problem with, or you begin pushing or worse - get rude, disrespectful or even verbally abusive with me - I will NOT tolerate it, will terminate services with you, and WILL NOT refund you. (Unfortunately it needs to be said and I’m done putting up with it from anyone).

Absolutely Not. Please Note. I am bookable by the hour. Every hour of my time you take up is billable whether you want to agree to that or not. These are my terms of business. Every minute, hour, and day is billable. I do not do business on “trust”. You’re either willing to put in the investment in money and the time it takes to send me the items I need to assist you before the design process even starts or this isn’t going to be a good fit and I wish you the best of luck.

Simply Put - No. If I’m in DM’s, SMS, and on the phone all day every day, I’m getting nothing done when it comes to the work - I work in peace and quiet without disruptions but more often than not some good tunes playing in the background and when I tune in and focus in that’s when the magic happens…Need to get in touch? I do check my email every couple of hours during each business day so email is ALWAYS the best place to reach out to me with any questions or even ideas you may have. Your website projects are bookable by the day / hour. If you begin requesting or demanding unnecessary phone calls, please note I reserve the right to take that time off of your design time, and will bill clients accordingly for the time spent communicating as 99% of the time, when this happens it is so that the client can start requesting more and additional items be added which always comes at an additional cost (Fairness in business is a big thing with me - if you aren’t willing to pay for what you’re asking for and someone’s time please understand how unfair that is to any designer, freelancer, creative, graphic artist, advertiser, consultant etc…..Be Fair - I bend over backwards for my clients to help them where it’s realistically possible to help them - be fair and mindful of what you’re asking for and realize that’s probably going to come with an extra bill). Once your website design is complete, I will proceed to send you a finalized link before the site goes live, we’ll review via a Google meet call together, and from there any and all requests for out of scope changes are billable at $50 an hour. Please note - I have no problem making minor changes in most cases but limit these requests to minor aspects since MOST of the brand strategy and workflow aspects are completed long before design time ever takes place.

I DO Manage and Design on Wordpress websites however, it’s a very rare day when I’m ever asked to. These websites however, must use either the Divi theme builder or Elementor Pro in order for me to say yes to taking on these websites for design, rebrands or even management. I’m honest about my capailities and thiis me being honest.
